Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization.

Meals On Wheels could not exist without the enduring support of more than 1000 volunteers.

Every week day our volunteers deliver nutritious meals and provide a daily safety check to homebound individuals. Our volunteers come from all walks of life -- students, retirees and working people on their lunch breaks.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer to deliver a meal and a smile.

Our delivery routes cover Sheboygan, Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove, Plymouth and the Elkhart Lake area. We will assist you in locating a convenient route near you.

Deliveries typically take about an hour to complete. Our volunteers are important to us and we will do everything we can to make your experience rewarding and easy to manage.

Substitute Drivers are in demand during the summer, holiday and snowbird seasons. If you cannot make a weekly or monthly commitment to drive a route, but still want to volunteer, consider serving as a substitute driver!

To become a Meals On Wheels volunteer you need three things:

  • An automobile and a valid drivers license
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Willingness to share your smile

Call our volunteer coordinator, Susan Mooney, at 920-451-7011. She will send you an information packet and get you started on a very rewarding volunteer career.

Meals On Wheels of Sheboygan County, Inc. is deeply grateful to the many businesses, churches and service organizations listed here that volunteer their time to deliver meals. If your business, church or organization would like to sponsor a route please call Susan Mooney at 920-451-7011.
